We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This pivotal role requires a harmony of deep theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging in sales calls and discovery sessions, articulating complex technical solutions that align directly with customer needs.
Key responsibilities include dissecting manufacturing processes, investigating operational hurdles, and understanding business objectives. The successful candidate will leverage their theoretical and practical skills to effectively configure, program, and integrate automation components.
Responsibilities also include developing and delivering compelling proof-of-concept demonstrations, leading hands-on technical showcases, and creating bespoke technical presentations and analyses to bolster sales initiatives.
Additionally, the candidate will stay ahead of the curve by engaging with the latest advancements in industrial automation and digitalization trends such as Industry 4.0, IoT, and AI.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in an Automation Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, or pre-sales technical sales support role within industrial environments.
Proficient understanding of industrial automation architectures, including PLC/DCS programming and HMI/SCADA design, along with industrial networking concepts such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and OPC UA.
