Job Title:
Infrastructure Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist to support and manage Microsoft Windows server environments, Active Directory, DNS, and virtualisation (VMware).
This role involves implementing and maintaining endpoint protection, backups, disaster recovery, and system monitoring.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for designing and managing secure IP networks, including VLANs, firewalls, and DMZ zones.
Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors is essential to ensure system reliability and security.
Travel to industrial sites across the East Coast may be required to provide on-site support.
Implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions to support business operations.
Design and deploy secure network architectures to protect against cyber threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations.

Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
Knowledge of server hardware, operating systems, IP networking, and network security.
Experience with endpoint security systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills and escalation management.
Hands-on IT systems experience.
Certifications.
Exposure to patch management tools.
Familiarity with enterprise backup and historian systems.
Personal Qualities:

Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
