We are seeking an
Academic Integrity Team Leader
to play a pivotal role in upholding and promoting our culture of academic honesty and ethical behaviour. This leadership position is responsible for guiding a national team of Academic Integrity and Conduct Officers and ensuring the efficient, fair, and effective handling of all academic misconduct matters.
Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with leadership experience in the higher education sector. You will be passionate about academic integrity, skilled in managing sensitive cases, and confident in influencing diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire
a collaborative, high-performing national team of Academic Integrity and Conduct Officers.
Oversee and enhance academic integrity policies, processes, and preventative strategies.
Conduct investigations into academic misconduct including plagiarism, contract cheating, and collusion.
Educate and support students, train faculty, and ensure clarity and consistency in policy communication.
Collaborate with academic leadership to develop evidence-based solutions to misconduct trends.
Maintain accurate records, produce insightful reports, and recommend process improvements.
Advocate for and implement technologies to reduce instances of misconduct.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor-level qualification.
1–2 years' experience in academic administration within the education industry.
Prior people management experience (managing a small team).
Prior management experience and knowledge of academic integrity practices.
Strong organisational, analytical, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proven ability to meet deadlines.
Desirable
:
Experience in education delivery.
Formal professional development in ethics or academic integrity.
Ability to influence senior academics and management.
