Job Opportunity: Director of Teaching and Learning

This senior academic leadership role involves shaping and strengthening teaching and learning across higher education and VET programs.

  • Lead initiatives to embed best practice pedagogy
  • Ensure the highest standards of teaching and assessment
  • Critical role in governance, compliance, and academic integrity
  • Build capability of academic teams and mentor future leaders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading teaching and learning projects, strategies, and policies
  • Overseeing academic governance, accreditation, and risk management processes
  • Driving innovation in pedagogy, assessment, and use of technology in teaching practice
  • Enhancing scholarly activity and research capacity of academic staff
  • Managing escalated student matters and contributing to academic performance improvement
Essential Qualifications and Skills

A highly accomplished academic with demonstrated leadership experience in higher education, ideally at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Strong communicator, collaborator, and mentor, with a PhD and expertise in curriculum design, governance, and academic quality.

Proven record of teaching, research, and scholarly activity.

Experience in developing and delivering higher education programs.
