**Description**:
NGH is focused on supporting a sustainable transition in Australia and our work across the nation is focused on helping people and places navigate the challenges that this transition presents. This role will support our clients in meeting the growing government, community and industry expectations for engagement and social impact analysis for large scale infrastructure and regional development projects.

**Key deliverables for this role**:

- Support development and delivery of communications and engagement plans for large scale renewable energy, water and transport infrastructure projects.
- Engage with a range of stakeholders and communities to inform infrastructure projects and share local benefits.
- Support development of place-based strategies and plans.
- Supporting development and delivery of Social Impact Assessments for projects.
- Drafting reports summarising engagement and social analysis outcomes.
- Providing targeted analysis and inputs into long term regional plans.
- Supporting workshops and analysing data as part of targeted research.

**Skills and Experiences**:
We are looking for an aspirational applicant with an interest in making a difference through local and national projects. Preferred skills and experience include:

- Tertiary Qualifications in relevant fields, such as communications, planning or social science.
- Experience working in rural areas and engaging regional communities.
- Renewable energy sector experience or a strong interest in this area.
- Initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
