About the opportunity

The Valuations Analyst is responsible for a range of valuation activities to ensure compliance with the team objectives. This position reports to the Valuations Manager. You will work with Valuations Team to procure and manage the quarterly valuation programme, undertake valuation modelling and manage the review of statutory valuation across the portfolio.

Obtain quotes from appropriately credentialed valuers and issue valuation instructions.

Maintain up to date valuation standards and typical letters of instruction for valuations of investment and development properties.

Work with the Investment Managers and Development Managers to ensure valuations are well founded, reliable and timely.

Identify risks, issues and opportunities across the portfolio for further investigation and discussion with the Senior Valuations Manager.

Assist with the preparation of the quarterly valuation schedule and contribute to the valuations board paper.

About you

Certified Property Valuer (CPV) with the Australian Property Institute or RICS registered valuer

Exposure to institutional grade real estate markets in one or more capital cities.

Proficiency in MS Office suite including advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to develop, analyse and manage financial models.

Ability to understand, analyse and critique external valuation reports.

Ability to identify the key issues, risks and relevant "drivers" when assessing a property.
