More about ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions is available here.The opportunity As a Customer Due Diligence Analyst, you will defend the company's integrity by executing precise customer risk assessments that uphold regulatory trust and improve the onboarding experience.
You will conduct comprehensive due diligence for Small-Medium Business (SMB) and Enterprise merchant acquiring customers, impacting safe growth and customer satisfaction.
You will report to the Team Lead of Customer Due Diligence and perform Customer Risk Assessment, Customer Due Diligence, Application Fraud Analysis, and Credit Assessment with delegated credit approval authority.
You will navigate AML/CTF Rules, Scheme Rules, and Worldline Group Merchant Acceptance Rules and Requirements (MARR), and other regulatory mandates in Australia, safeguarding against ML/TF, fraud, and credit risks.
You will be the first line of defense in risk management and customer experience.ResponsibilitiesConduct Comprehensive CDD Activities: Perform Simplified, Standard, and Enhanced Due Diligence to mitigate SMB/Enterprise risk and ensure compliance.Facilitate Customer Engagement: Request and collect KYC/MARR/Credit information with regulatory compliance, ensuring a positive customer experience.Perform Credit and Fraud Checks: Assess new and existing SMB/Enterprise merchants to mitigate credit and fraud risks.Ensure Data and Documentation Integrity: Maintain accurate customer data and documentation per AML/CTF regulations and risk policies.Customer Risk Assessment: Assign AML/CTF and credit risk levels in line with risk management standards.Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations within SLAs and organizational policies.Optimize Customer Onboarding: Collaborate across ANZ Worldline to improve onboarding while managing risk.Manage Triggers and Alerts: Address risk event triggers and alerts across risk vectors.Identify and Report on Compliance Matters: Escalate AML/CTF issues and align with program requirements.Support CDD Systems and Processes: Assist in creating and maintaining risk systems and documentation.Continuous Improvement: Review and optimize risk processes with Team Lead and other teams.Competencies & KnowledgeOrganizational AcumenInfluencing and NegotiationCommunication ClarityCommercial InsightResults OrientationTechnological Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis toolsCultural AgilityAnalytical SkillsExperience2+ years in a customer due diligence environment (KYC, AML, Fraud, and Credit)At least 1 year in a payments or technology-driven organizationExperience in a merchant acquiring environmentEducationBachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related fieldIndustry Certification (e.g., ACAMS) preferredBenefitsWe offer a flexible environment with opportunities to learn, grow and accelerate your career.
