We are on the hunt for an analytical master to join our growing Risk Investigations Team as a **Customer Due Diligence Support Analyst**. This newly created position will be an integral part of our business and will be involved in some really interesting and exciting stuff. The Customer Due Diligence Support Analyst will fulfil a key role in supporting the analysis of customers, as part of our AML/CTF obligations and due diligence framework.

**With great progression, career development opportunities and the chance to work with the latest technology, a normal day in the role of the Customer Due Diligence Support Analyst includes**:

- Provide both administrative and analytical support to the Customer Due Diligence Analyst, Fraud Lead and AML/CTF Manager
- Review and investigate customer identity and wealth documents to ensure accuracy and minimise fraud opportunity
- Support requests for information from law enforcement and intelligence agencies
- Conduct transactional data customer analysis, identifying behaviours indicating potential fraud, responsible gambling or AML/CTF risk
- Conduct external, open-source, customer background analysis to identify any key risks
- Conduct periodic enhanced customer due diligence reviews
- Develop basic understanding of Betfair's obligations under the _Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006_
- Working closely with numerous teams including Responsible Gambling, Fraud, Integrity, AML, and VIP to undertake appropriate action on customer accounts
- Support actioning of alerts, reports and other BAU processes (e.g - customer verification/KYC process)
- Support banking withdrawal checks
- Any other duties or tasks directed, within your skills and experience

**But there is a catch. To be in the running for this great role, you should have**:

- Sound data analysis skills
- A dedication to learning more about Betfair's AML/CTF obligations and due diligence framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills - a real team player
- Sound Microsoft Excel and/or SQL skills and proficient in the use of standard IT Packages
- Previous experience working in an analytical and/or investigations background or keen interest to move into this field
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including some weekends
- Previous use of open-source investigative tooling and methodology (preferred, not essential)
