Energy Innovation Role
The Energy Innovation role is a challenging opportunity to enhance energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainability in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and engineer controls and software for heat pump systems, integrating with Energy Management Systems
Develop and test new control systems and product concepts to deliver customer value
Document designs using CAD models, technical specifications, bills of materials, and test reports
Improve production reliability, reduce costs, and enhance product performance
Project manage and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and energy management providers
Compare and analyze competitor products
Provide technical advice across departments and represent research and development on project teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or relevant work experience in a similar field
Knowledge of Carel controllers and programming tools or equivalent HVAC controllers
Preferred knowledge of Structured Text programming language
Experience in electrical design and wiring
Experience with various building management system protocols
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
Experience with project management in a design and manufacturing environment
Experience in a research or product development organization
Experience in refrigeration technology
Experience working with Australian standards as a regulatory framework
