Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.
What this role will entail?
D4C is seeking an Asset Manager to join their expanding team to deliver excellence in the water project program of works across the Southern Region.
The Asset Manager is responsible for the analysis of asset data for the purpose of identifying opportunities, developing actions and implementation including the optimising of maintenance plans to improve asset performance across all Term Services Contracts for the Sydney Water South Region.
As an Asset Manager, you'll be leading a program of works and joining at the start of a 10-year project. Your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Developing a strong collaborative relationship with key client personnel
- Develop and implement actions that will improve poor performing areas as per RAG indicators in Asset performance Tool.
- Prepare recommendations for changes to the preventative maintenance program based on asset failure analysis.
- Contribute to the development of reports for analysis of work order and assets.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of asset management processes and risk assessment techniques related to large scale infrastructure management.
- Actively assist with the performance KPIs and look for opportunities to maximise value for clients, improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Liaising with Executive stakeholders to ensure that clients' needs and goals are met.

**Essential Requirements**:

- 10 + years leadership experience in a similar service delivery environment.
- Sound knowledge of computer maintenance management systems.
- Experience working to strict set of quality systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, asset management or general management is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Demonstrated productive performance in a team environment.
- Lateral thinking ability and a focus on continuous improvement.
