The Department of Education is committed to supporting the success and wellbeing of students with disability through each stage of schooling in an inclusive education system.
A new Students with disability - reasonable adjustments resourcing model has been introduced to support equity, inclusion and early intervention for students with disability.
We are looking for Principal Advisors to make a significant contribution to the new model's implementation and quality assurance.

**Your role**:
**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide complex research, analysis and evaluation to support continuous improvement within the department and in schools promote best practice in supporting students with disability.
- Provide advice and guidance to schools and regions on the Students with disability - reasonable adjustments resourcing and the implementation of new process, procedures and tools and how to use effectively.
- Monitor, evaluate, and contribute to strategies, standards and requirements ensuring alignment with departmental guidelines, procedures and process are followed, implementing the Students with disability - reasonable adjustments resourcing model for schools
- Ensure appropriate development standards and quality assurance requirements are followed, including the review and enhancement of quality student with disability processes, policies and procedures as required.
- Identify and respond to developing issues, good practice and opportunities in relation to the department's, division's and region's planning, governance, reporting and performance management processes and support continuous improvement.
- Prepare and coordinate the development of correspondence, presentations, briefs, submissions, project plans, and reports on issues related to workforce initiatives, strategies and policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients, networks, stakeholders and service providers to effectively implement the Students with disability - Reasonable adjustments resourcing model.
