
Purchasing/Supply Chain Officer

Our client, who leading global supplier of utility, construction, and mining equipment, with operations, including sales, service, support and manufacturing, throughout the world, are currently looking for an experienced** Purchasing/Supply Chain Officer **to join their team.
This is a 6mth temp/contract position working full time hours Monday to Friday with possible extension. Flexibility with start and finish times if required. **Hourly rate of $35p/h + super.**
**Your duties will include but not limited to**:
- Supporting role of the production team managing the production back order and supply of parts to the Facility
- Management of the inventory from Distribution centre (DC) to respective location in a timely manner to ensure no production delay's
- Review of production jobs with missing parts and arrange orders for the respective missing items to ensure smooth build efficiencies.
- Co-ordinate deliveries with the OEM's/ Local suppliers on parts deliveries to support production facility.
- Provide routine updates to the business on the status of the parts supply to the production orders.
- Escalate any issues relating to the supply of parts through the supply chain.
