**What we are looking for**:
This position is responsible for managing funding resources, and compliance requirements related to early childhood education inclusion initiatives within our organisation, as well as contributing to other grant and funding matters as required.

**The role**:

- Identify and assist in accessing relevant grants, subsidies, and funding opportunities for inclusion support.
- Develop financial strategies to maximize funding opportunities and sustainable inclusion support programs.
- Provide training and resources to childcare centres on financial planning for inclusion initiatives.
- Monitor and report on funding outcomes, expenditure, and financial impact of inclusion programs.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to inclusion support activities and outcomes.
- Assist to ensure relevant data, records and documentation is up to date to allow accurate and timely reporting.
- Contribute to reports for AEG to endorse funding recommendations.
- Assist in regular reviews of AEG's Grants Program Guidelines to ensure they reflect legislation, probity principles and best practice.
- Utilise the ServiceNowSystem to track request status and history.
- Follow up with Centres to ensure any outstanding actions regarding funding compliance are completed.
- Monitor the Funding Team inbox.
- Complete accurate and timely reporting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Ensure that all requirements of funding bodies are actioned within required timeframes, including funding claims and reporting.
- Respond to a wide range of queries in a professional and timely manner.

**Skills and experience you'll need to be successful**:

- Qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Grants Management, or a related field.
- Commitment to promoting equity and inclusion through financial and funding initiatives.
- Knowledge of financial tools and software for grant management.
- Strong understanding, or the ability to gain, of relevant inclusion frameworks, policies, and funding programs.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-driven and results oriented.
- Data management - proficiency in data extraction and reporting to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Passion for Early Childhood education - a genuine interest in and commitment to the organisations mission, objectives and values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

**Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.**
