About the Role
We're seeking a
Marine Applications Analyst
to join our
Marine Operations Support Services team
and play a critical role in how we run our fleet.
This role is all about
bringing technology and operations together
. You'll be the go-to expert for our marine operations system
Helm CONNECT
, ensuring it's configured, optimised, and running at its peak to support
operational efficiency, safety, and compliance
.
As the central point of contact for system support, you'll:
Provide frontline support, troubleshooting, and guidance to operational teams across Australia
Support system integrations, compliance monitoring, and performance reporting
Deliver onsite training and implementation support at business units nationwide
Configure, maintain, and continuously improve the system
Maintain data accuracy, asset hierarchies, and task structures
This role is based in
Adelaide
, but you'll travel regularly to provide hands-on support and training where it matters most — on the ground with our teams. This is a
2-year fixed term appointment.
About You
You're someone who thrives at the intersection of

Here's what you'll bring:
Strong technical skills in configuring, administering, and optimising digital operational systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with crews, technical staff, and leadership teams
A sharp eye for accuracy, data management, and detail
Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate system issues and recommend improvements
The confidence to work independently, balance priorities, and meet deadlines
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in maritime operations, transport, logistics or asset-intensive industries
Knowledge of safety management systems (SMS), compliance frameworks, and manufacturer requirements
Relevant qualifications in Information Systems, Maritime Operations, or Business Systems
