Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) specializes in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modeling, surface and subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory services, flood forecasting and water resource management through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise.

Our Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) group forms an integrated core that provides clients with outstanding project execution through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise. From concept to operation, we're committed to providing traditional services alongside proprietary technologies and innovative thinking to deliver custom, cost-effective solutions.

The Geotechnical Lead will provide technical leadership to project teams in our Sydney and Newcastle offices, liaise with local clients to demonstrate design competency, and assist in coordination of geotechnical engineering delivery from throughout the Australasian region.

- Provide technical guidance for geotechnical services on various size New South Wales public infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical advice on complex geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff during scoping, design development, design reviews and presentation of completed designs.
- Take responsibility for technical reviews, fostering technical quality of deliverables.
- Work with regional leadership to coordinate project resourcing needs and engineering capacity across the Australasian region
- Execute and/or manage technical work on projects including corporate governance, technical review and sign-off on reports, recommendations and designs

**You bring to the role**:
A well-developed knowledge of tendering and delivering geotechnical services for Infrastructure projects including foundations, pavements, earthworks and excavations across all project phases from initial concept through to design and construction. You have relevant Civil Engineering or Geology qualifications and ideally, a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. You are able to provide team guidance and possess advanced interpersonal skills. Previous experience in temporary works, Independent Verification and/or Proof Engineering will be highly regarded. Some travel within the Australia/Asia region and internationally as required will be required.
