Parklands Christian College is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to lead the College's people and compliance functions.
This is a part-time role at 0.6 FTE (three days per week or spread across the week), with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
Parklands Christian College is a growing school located on 45 acres of land on the southern corridor from Brisbane to Beaudesert at Park Ridge, Logan, QLD.
We are a Christian, co-educational school of nearing 1000 students (P-12), along with our Early Learning Centre and Outside School Hours Care facilities, and an established set of values that permeate everything to which we aspire.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your generalist human resources skills and knowledge.
You will be responsible for the College's human resources processes, including:Handling all tasks from recruitment to offboarding, including providing quality induction processesOffering assistance and guidance with probation processes, performance development, and people managementWorking with the Facilities Manager to offer proactive injury management support, including Workcover claimsOverseeing and improving administrative and compliance systems that support workplace and industrial relations tasks within the CollegeAbout YouThis role requires someone who has:A Human Resource qualification and/or proven skills in similar roles, preferably in a school settingWorking knowledge of injury management and people management practices and systems in a multi-occupational workforceSound understanding and application of generalist human resource best practicesStrong digital literacy, attention to detail, organisational, data entry, and document processing capabilitiesChampioning of strong ethics, interpersonal and discretionary skills coupled with a commitment to quality service deliveryAn ability to develop effective, collaborative relationships with College stakeholdersActive Christian FaithPositive Blue CardHow to ApplyIf you are passionate about Human Resources and eager to make a positive impact, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
