Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Officer to support their growing organisation. This newly created role will play a critical part in maintaining HR operations and providing end to end HR support across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation, including contracts and position descriptions, within our established HRIS – Employment Hero;
  • Coordinate the recruitment, selection, induction and onboarding of employees including police checks and pre-employment medicals;
  • Provide advice and support to team leaders and employees in line with policies, procedures, relevant legislation and best practice;

·       Assist with industrial relations matters, internal investigations, and conflict resolution;

·       Drive the performance and annual review processes;

·       Processing fortnightly payroll using Employment Hero;

·       Overseeing staff qualifications and certifications;

·       Promoting and fostering a strong workplace culture.

The ideal applicant will have:

·       Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Human Resources role;

·       Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business or related field;

·       Experience with Employment Hero;

·       Demonstrated knowledge of HR systems, practices, and compliance requirements;

·       High level of knowledge and experience in recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction processes;

·       Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act;

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills;

·       Problem solving and negotiation skills.
