**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Manager, Project and accounting this role is responsible for maintaining TZV data integrity by ensuring that the general ledger is accurate, complies with applicable accounting standards, legislation, and other government requirements.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Responsible for all payroll related journal processes, annual payroll tax and Workcover reconciliation and all leave reports
- Perform regular review of all balance sheet clearing account outstanding historical balances Preparation of TZV funding allocation and reconciliation to ensure revenue recognition aligned with Australian Accounting Standard
- Perform the month end account review and certain processing to ensure journals, bank transactions and all other transactions are accurately captured in the relevant accounts in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and the investigation and rectification of anomalies in the general ledge
- Ensure financial transactions comply with TZV policies and procedures, Australian Accounting Standards, Statutory and other legislative requirements Assist the Manager Financial Accounting and Project Accounting in preparing the annual financial report in accordance with Financial Reporting Directions and applicable Australian Accounting Standards**About You**:

- Minimum 5 years proven experience in accounting and/or finance in a medium to large and complex organisation
- Demonstrable ability and understanding of accounting concepts and accounting standards
- An aptitude for problem solving in the context of accounting and financial compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team
