Your Next Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate self-starter to join Hyne Tumbarumba as our Safety Partner on site. You will work closely with site to develop partnerships that support the continued implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our safety plan. You will be instrumental in leading and developing a think safe and act safe culture through mentoring and coaching across the site.i

Leaders and teams are engaged, have the tools to do their job, and have the confidence and ability to manage HSE obligations and risks.
Support implementation and the continuous development of the Hyne Group's Health Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS).
Establish and facilitate systematic approaches to risk assessments and risk management directed towards asset and operational lifecycle.
Manage site HSE event response and reporting procedures concerning significant hazards, injuries, incidents to ensure accurate and timely response and reporting.
Conduct formal investigations, specialist inspections and audits working with site management to ensure findings and actions address systematic improvement and controls effectiveness.
Liaise with line management on the safety aspects of plant/process modification.

We have the flexibility to offer you a drive in drive out position from a local area with a preference of 3 days on site and 2 days working from home.
If you choose to live in our lovely town we can offer relocation assistance and support in finding accommodation.
About you

Well-developed leadership and influencing skills with a minimum 5 years experinece in a similar role e.g Safety, People and Culture, Risk.
Diversity of experience within the health and safety space including ability to conduct risk and safety assessments on site.
Strong initiative and solutions focussed with a hands on approach to partnering.
