**About the Company**
A food manufacturing business that is established in Australian households and has a focus on innovation, places a significant emphasis on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the company meets high standards. Located in the south east suburbs of Melbourne, the business is looking for a Safety and Wellbeing Partner to lead initiatives for the site.
**About the Role**
In the role as Safety and Wellbeing Partner, you will report into the General Manager of the business as well as having a close working relationship with other safety leaders. In the role you will be responsible for ensuring the site maintains a strong commitment to safety as well as developing on further safety initiatives.
To be successful in the role you will need to develop strong relationships with the site and national leadership team to implement and monitor safety, health, and environment plans.
- Formal diploma or above education in Occupational (Work) Health and Safety
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations
- Experience implementing safety initiatives in FMCG manufacturing, ideally in food.
- Strong understanding of RTW and injury management.
- Ability to influence and build relationships within internal and external stakeholders.
