OverviewEvent guide - taking young people through the exhibition, spark conversations, and connect them with STEM volunteersResponsibilitiesInteract, facilitate, and engage young people through the Careers Hive exhibition and auditorium.Be a natural communicator and build rapport quickly and easily with young people.Be experienced and confident at presenting to and facilitating groups of young people.Qualifications and experienceExperience (formal or informal) in youth work or in an education setting or community education setting is desirable.A Scientific or STEM background is desirable but not essential.You will have a passion for inspiring, encouraging and supporting the development of young people.Training and requirementsTraining will take place on the 23 October.Successful candidates may be required to join the PVG scheme and be subject to a criminal check through Disclosure Scotland.DetailsPay: £12.60 per hourWork hours: Approximately 20 hours over 4 daysLocation: National Museum of ScotlandKey Dates: Training 23 October 2025; Live 27 October to 30 October 2025The deadline is Sunday 07 September 2025 at 23:55.TAGGED:Education / Festivals / Young People (aged 0 to 25)
