**Our Opportunity**

NEPEAN Engineering (a division of NEPEAN) provides technical excellence and innovation, offering a full engineering service to the mining, minerals processing, bulk materials handling, manufacturing, infrastructure, and defence sectors.

We are looking for a Welding Supervisor who will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and submitting the necessary documentation related to the fabrication of welded items, ensuring they meet all customer requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- ** Strategy**: Contribute to the ongoing development of new ideas and ensure compliance across our operations.
- ** Execution**: Review NDT reports. Verify all QA and QC is completed. Develop WPS's.
- **Culture**: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote a proactive, quality, and compliance-based culture.
- ** Excellence**: Be an expert in fabrication, welding, cutting processes, welding equipment and consumables.
- ** Innovation**: Drive process improvements and identify new initiatives to promote best practices.
- ** Staying Ahead**: Ensure maintenance of all necessary accreditations and compliance standards.

About You:

- ** Skilled Professional**: Trade background or tertiary engineering qualifications. Several years' experience on the tools and supplementary supervisory experience.
- **Subject Matter Expert**: An International Welding Inspector Certification and Certification for the following standards: AS 1796 Cert 10 & AS 2214 (preferred)
- ** Strong Team Leader**: To supervise and monitor all welding activities
- ** Methodical and Analytical**: Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to expected standards. Ability to develop Weld Map as per client and specification requirements.
- **Strong Communicator**: Excellent interpersonal skills with an energetic persona and ability to influence.
