About the role

This is an entry level role, with continued support and Training on the Job provided

Whilst the training is provided, a mechanical aptitude and interest is a must You may be completing your Trade certificate in a related field (Fitter, Turner, or Automotive) or looking to do something a bit different.

A passion to look after customers and provide exceptional service is also required

Ultimately, you will be the face of Hydraulink for customer service to our walk-in customers and mobile sales and service technicians over our Branch Trade Counter.

**This is a varied role, which includes but is not limited to**:

- Manufacturing of hoses for walk in customers through the hose shop
- Answering the phone, taking and keying orders
- Picking urgent orders when needed

Hydraulink is growing So ultimately you also get an opportunity to progress through the company via various avenues, if that is a path you wish to follow while building an array of new skills.

About the person

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage rapidly changing workloads and deadlines.
- Aptitude towards all things mechanical.
- Keenness to learn new technical skills.
- Some real trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
- A willingness and flexibility to take on tasks and responsibilities "outside the square".
- Willing to perform some safe manual handling
- Previous experience interacting directly with customer would be beneficial
- Hose and fittings experience is not required
