Position

Due to rapid company growth and market demands, this exciting opportunity has been established in the Newcastle Branch, within one of their busiest periods yet. The position of Branch Manager has opened and entails a major focus in managing team and overseeing company operations.

The role will focus on the following:

  • Customer Service
  • Quality, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
  • People Management
  • Cross Functional Support
  • Liaising with the sales team, estimators, and project management team
  • Oversee smooth and efficient operation of all aspects of the branch
  • Ensure all personnel adhere to Company Policies and Procedures at all times
  • Respond to all customer requests within agreed timelines and dispatch according to customer requirements
  • Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, liaising with the Major Products Manager
  • Maintain adequate levels of branch hire and accessory stock, coordinating with the Major Products Manager/National Procurement Manager
  • Monitor all "Sub Hire" transactions closely, aiming to convert long-term Sub Hires to company owned equipment through transfer or purchase

Candidate

To be considered for this role, you must have Branch Management or Senior BDM experience within the construction industry, particularly dealing with the hire or sales of equipment. Ideally, you will have management, project management, organising hire, and labour as well as estimating experience under your belt.

  • Branch Management experience within the construction industry
  • General equipment hire and sales exp is highly regarded
  • Based in Newcastle
  • Valid drivers license
  • Full Australian working rights
