Overview

9-day fortnight + 5 days anniversary leave Field Service Technician - Heavy Equipment | Newcastle - Sydney NSW. You'll be part of a national company backed by over 100 years of industry experience and strong partnerships with world-class brands like Cat Lift Trucks, Konecranes, and Haulotte.

Based at our new branch in Newcastle and reporting to the Branch Supervisor, you'll have the support of a knowledgeable team while taking ownership of your work in a hands-on, practical role.

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and maintain equipment (up to 10+ tonnes)
  • Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics
  • Complete overhauls, modifications, and new machine assembly
  • Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs to industry standards
Qualifications
  • Trade qualification - Automotive, Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Experience working with heavy diesel/large scale equipment
  • Experience in fault-finding and repairing machinery
  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • Desirable: Electrical and hydraulic experience
