We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Mudgee region. This embedded role supports mining customers in and around Mudgee, reporting to the Muswellbrook branch, with a focus on service, repairs and maintenance of high horsepower (19L and above) mining engines across multiple OEMs. Let Cummins train you to be an engine expert.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a first-class service to mining customers as a travelling Field Service Technician
  • Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Provide support for new Tier 4 HHP engines, following Cummins technical training
  • Work with other major OEMs such as Hitachi, Komatsu, and Liebherr
Qualifications
  • Relevant trade qualification (Plant or Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel)
  • A valid driver's license
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and related applications is preferred
