The OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic lawyer to join our Superannuation team within our Investment Funds practice.A role within the Superannuation team covers a diverse and extensive range of work.
This work includes: regulatory investigations and litigation (ASIC and APRA), trustee governance and administration matters, remediation projects, superannuation fund transformation initiatives, specialised advice work and successor fund transfers.
Within this team you will also have exposure to a full spectrum of work that has an AFSL or investment dimension.The preference is for someone with Superannuation experience but the role would be a great fit for a Corporate/Investment Funds Lawyer looking to expand their existing knowledge into the superannuation space or an existing Superannuation Lawyer seeking an opportunity to work in a collaborative and growing top-tier practice.Open to the location of this role which could be based in Sydney (preferred), Brisbane or Melbourne.A full job description including a breakdown of responsibilities can be found attached to the role on our careers page are interested in hearing from people who have:2-6 years' legal experience gained within a top-tier firm or by a combination of top-tier and in-house.
Experience in regulatory, licensing, governance, administration, distribution, restructuring and/or investment matters associated with superannuation, funds management and/or life insurance products would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A commercial approach and an ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills.
