The Role
This exciting position forms a key part of our growth strategy and will see you work closely with our Senior Commercial Manager to develop and deliver account specific business plans to drive growth within major Australian grocery retailers. Our portfolio of products includes a range of iconic Australian brands as well as emerging international market leading brands across multiple categories. You'll learn the ropes of account management from an experienced commercial manager with a genuine succession plan in place.
You can expect to support the Senior Commercial Manager on major retail accounts as well as taking ownership of your own emerging account. You will work with our internal teams to ensure account timelines are met and the relationship between McCormick and our retail customers is second to none.
Using in depth consumer data, you will help build promotional programs that optimise our promotional budgets
Identify and understand market trends that impact our monthly sales forecast
Manage/grow our emerging customer accounts by securing additional distribution points and developing tailored in-store and digital promotional programs
Work with the marketing team to execute national campaigns and promotions for our iconic brands
As part of your development you will assist in preparing for and attending regular customer meetings where you will hone your presentation and negotiation skills

About You
We have tailored this role and the training opportunities to someone who is serious about growing their career in sales, so if you have had some exposure to B2B or Direct Sales with knowledge of the FMCG industry, this could be the role for you.
