We are seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of OSHC/OOSH Coordinator for our thriving not-for-profit organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in the Wollongong Region. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of an Outside School Hours Care Service.

**About the role**
- Full-time position (38 hours per week) with a term-time only contract, providing flexibility around school holidays

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and mentor a team of educators, providing guidance and support in all areas of the National Quality Framework
- Develop opportunities for quality improvement within the team and implement a Quality Improvement Plan
- Develop and implement an educational program aligned with the My, Time Our Place Framework
- Develop a vacation care program
- Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the school community
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Complete administrative duties on site

**Required qualifications and experience**:

- Preferred but not required, Diploma in School Age Education
- Leadership experience in OSHC or ECE setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively lead a team
- Genuine interest in working with children and motivating and training educators
- Current 'CHCPRT001' - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk' training (or willingness to obtain
- 1 day training).
- Current 'HLTAID012' - Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting' Certificate (or willingness to obtain
- 1 day training).
- Valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check
- Understanding, adherence, and promotion of The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
- Proof of Double Vaccination or a Medical Contraindication Form for COVID-19 Vaccination
