Salary:
Base pay range
A$73,564.00/yr - A$82,345.00/yr, plus superannuation. The pay range is provided by Wollongong City Council and your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

What You'll Be Doing
Safely operate trucks, trailers, and various attachments for scheduled and reactive maintenance.
Carry out park maintenance activities including landscaping, waste removal, and asset care.
Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with the public in our parks and open spaces.
Maintain high standards of Work Health & Safety in all tasks.
Work across multiple Council depots and locations within the Wollongong LGA.
About you
Current MR Drivers Licence.
Proven experience operating trucks, trailers, and a range of attachments.
Experience in parks and open space maintenance, including the use of relevant tools and equipment.
Strong understanding and commitment to Work Health & Safety practices.
Physically capable of performing manual outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, proactive, and adaptable to changing tasks and schedules.
Clear and respectful communicator, especially when engaging with the public.
Take pride in maintaining public spaces and contributing to community wellbeing.
Willing and able to work across multiple Council depots and locations within the Wollongong LGA.
