We are currently seeking a **Planning Manager **to lead demand and supply planning, maximising cost effectiveness and providing accurate forecasting and schedule purchasing within the business.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Be responsible for leading the demand and supply inputs/outputs for a complex portfolio of products.
- Balance working capital investment, availability targets and customer contractual obligations.
- Lead monthly demand and supply performance reviews, presenting performance, purchase order status, availability constraints and working capital scenarios.
- Weekly reports for KPI's to planning team with risk identifications, improvement outcome plans and rectification timelines.
- Interpret and manage the daily issues that arise because of changes in demand, and / or supply constraints that impact supply outlook.
- Lead supply integration and drive alignment towards a single supply plan.
- Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes and develop improvements within the replenishment platform.
- Manage KPI targets that will hold the team to a high level of accountability and delivery.
- Maintain supply data accuracy with all purchase order key attributes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
**To be successful in your role you need to possess**:
- An understanding and demonstrated ability to define and implement improvement initiatives across supply planning processes
- Demonstrated experience leading supply planning function within complex, multi-segment distribution organisation
- Knowledge of and experience with S&OP / IBP processes and responsibilities
- Experience working across complex business structures without direct line authority to deliver required business outcomes and change
- Demonstrated stakeholder management at senior levels
- Knowledge of and experience with Advanced planning systems, statistical forecasting techniques and inventory management techniques and systems
- Competency with techniques for change management
- Demonstrated experience in developing team capabilities
