Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Mayfield Childcare Full time

Our Early Learning Centre located in Lilydale delivers exceptional quality care and education for children aged six weeks to six years and includes a fully accredited kindergarten and an exceptional Bush Kindergarten Program.

We are seeking a dynamic Early Childhood Diploma Qualified ROOM LEADER for our centre

To be successful for any of the above positions you will also have:

- Diploma in early childhood teaching (or ACECQA approved)
- WWCC (employee)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
- Child Protection Training
- Red Nose training (willingness to obtain)
- Food Safety (willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills,
- Sound understanding of the approved learning frameworks and the requirements under the National Quality Framework
- A team player with a strong focus on community and teamwork
- Established Leadership skills to support a culture of reflective practice to encourage continuous improvement across all aspects of the service
- Experience in leading the development and implementation of the educational program and assessment, as well as the planning cycle.
- Experience using Story Park (or willingness to learn)
- Experience in mentoring and supporting teams
- Flexibility to work within the operational hours if an education and care service
- Available to work Monday to Friday 5 days per week
