Digital Systems Manager

**Main Purpose**

The Digital Systems Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the Digital Systems Program. The role will ensure all digital systems ( OT and IT) are delivered in line with the business requirements and adherence to standards. The role will liaise with the various stakeholders within the Design & Construct phase of the project while managing O&M deliverables.

The systems delivered will meet system assurance criteria set out by contract.

**Main Responsabilities**
- General

Ø Have an in depth understanding of the O&M and digital systems contract obligations

Ø Undertake detailed planning, project management and system assurance activities

Ø Ensure digital systems are delivered to meet internal and external customer expectations

Ø Build relationships with PLM and Sydney Metro stakeholders to ensure deliverables and expectations are managed

Ø Contribute to the schedule, budget and risk management of digital systems

Ø Support the digitisation of asset management activity where required

Ø Support the safety/security processes defined by the O&M HSEQ Director

Ø Contribute to the configuration management

Ø Participate in the different workshops and develop the evidences (technical notes) with arguments to explain the O&M position
- Rail Systems

Ø Manage technical and non functional interfaces are managed between D&C partners

Ø Managee subcontractors and the quality of deliverables

Ø Provide the specifications for the O&M tools which require interfaces with D&C systems

Ø Develop and provide the ICD (Interface Context Description) where O&M is in lead and attend to the D&C workshops

Ø Prepare and develop the O&M tools implementation plan which are not in interfaces with D&C systems

Ø Prepare and attend the gate reviews defined by the system/security assurance process

Ø Prepare and develop the set of operation and maintenance manuals

Ø Prepare and develop the set of user and maintenance manuals

Ø Prepare and develop the installation strategy, plan and procedures

Ø Prepare and develop the Test and Commissioning strategy, plan and procedures
- Security

Ø Review and contribute to the security system assurance

Ø Develop the Security Operating Center (Soc) in accordance with contract obligations

Ø Implement the SIEM-Security Logging & Monitoring and the NIDS-Network Intrusion Detection System for Signalling Systems/Rolling Stock

Ø Develop the interfaces for the SoC for the O&M Scope in the SoC

Ø Review and assess the SoC tools in order to ensure that O&M can comply with the Security Obligation

Ø Prepare event and incident documentation

Ø Review and assess initial Threat and Risk Report

Ø Carry out the risk assessment at each stage of the project

Ø Support the other O&M positions for the topics related to security

Any other appropriated duties

**Work/Job Experience Requirements**
- Desired experience in a railway or an industrial control systems environment
- Desired Safety and Security environment in railway
- Experience in delivering a SoC in operation or similar
- Experience in the implementation and operation of digital systems ( OT/IT)

**Educational Requirements**

Diploma / Degree in Engineering or B.Sc./M.Sc. with Physics / Electronics/ Power Supply / Computer Science

English language (Fluent)

- Understanding of ISO 50216 & T MU AM 00002 GU and other annexures
- Understanding of ISA/IEC 62443 series, CLC/TS 50701 and T MU SY 10013 PR as NIST, PSI DSS, ISO 27000 and NSW CSP and other annexures, legislation, standards and guidance, processes and practices related to security management for major rail infrastructure projects
- Experience in the implementation of tools(HW, SW, Cloud, ) in a railway environment
- Interface Management
- Legislation, standards and guidance, processes and practices related to IT/Security/OT Design & Construction and Operation & Maintenance
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills in English
