**Job Description**:
The Assistant Content Merchandiser - 9Now Programming and Operations reports into the Optimisation Manager and works in a wider team who are tasked with the daily media asset management and curation of content on the 9Now platform.

Career pathways for this role include but are not limited to Optimisation Manager, Assistant
Programmer, Programming Assistant, Operations Producer, Multimedia Designer.

Day to day you will:

- Assist the Optimisation Manager
- Sources 9Now image creative assets from third party distributors
- Briefs in impactful key art aligned with programming strategy
- Assist with creating templates for thumbnails and artwork across entertainment, sport, news and reality content for team daily use.
- Sources video creative assets from third party distributors
- Basic reporting and analytics
- Quality control of all artwork and thumbnails
- Ensures key artwork is attached to all programs ahead of scheduled publish or playout

**Qualifications**:
What we would like to see on your resume:

- A highly motivated individual who thrives in a deadline driven environment
- Beginner to intermediate design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma/Canva).
- Appreciation and a passion for Design, TV and Film
- High attention to detail
- Skilled in time management and prioritisation
- Ability to adapt, learning new technologies, workflows and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within the wider team and take direction
- Tertiary qualifications in Media, Graphic Design or similar is beneficial
- Knowledge of video editing is beneficial
- Knowledge of VOD (video on demand) platform content curation and merchandising approaches would be beneficial
- Familiar with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, MyDrive) is beneficial
