About the role
**The purpose of this role is to**: The provision and management of effective and efficient term allocations, rosters and annual leave for Resident Medical Officers at The Prince Charles Hospital - 76 staff (Interns, Junior/Senior House Officers) in accordance with Queensland Health systems, policies and relevant awards and legislation.
About you
This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Rosters & Allocations for Resident Medical Officers (RMOs)
- Work in conjunction with the Managers of Medical Workforce and Medical Education to ensure effective and efficient allocation of RMOs in the development of career progression
- Provide a career and service focused rostering and allocations model for RMOs and hospital programs.

Human Resource Management
- Management and allocation of leave requests for approval by the Director of Medical Administration
- Negotiate with RMOs regarding rostering enquiries/requests as far as practicable to ensure individual Medical Board, career and hospital service requirements are met.

Quality Improvement
- Prepare Roster and Allocation analytics for the RMO pool focusing on:

- o After Hours - total number frequency, range and equity
- o Annual Separation Trends

General
- Participate in, and provide information to new RMOs / Interns during facility Orientation
- Maintain databases and rostering spreadsheets/templates.
