Round the Way Bagels Food Truck is seeking a Head Prep Chef to join our team and oversee the kitchen operations across our three food truck brands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is ready to bring fresh ideas to our offerings.About Us:Round the Way Bagels Food Truck has been a leader in the mobile catering industry for over 14 years.
We specialize in delivering high-quality food at festivals, events, and private functions.
Our commitment to exceptional service and delicious food has earned us a stellar reputation in the industry. Responsibilities:Lead and manage the food prep kitchen for all three food truck brands.Oversee stock ordering and maintain inventory levels.Develop and manage prep schedules to ensure smooth kitchen operations.Ensure completion of cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of cleanliness.Monitor and measure COGS % to optimize kitchen profitability.Train, supervise, and inspire team members to deliver top-quality food.Contribute new ideas and menu items to keep our offerings innovative and exciting.Coordinate with the events and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.What We're Looking For:Extensive experience in hospitality and kitchen management.Advanced cooking techniques and strong kitchen operations knowledge.Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.Strong leadership qualities with a positive, can-do attitude.Exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding food safety and presentation.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work.Excellent communication skills and a team player.Creativity and a passion for food.Must have own transportation.Preferred Qualifications:Australian Driver's License.Responsible Serving of Alcohol certificate.Cert Commerical CookeryWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly rate of $36 to $40, plus penalties and super.
