Ciaron Maher Racing are seeking a highly experienced Pre-Training Manager at Cavallino Estate, Pakenham South, VIC.

The perfect chance to step into one of Australia's leading race horse training teams; Cavallino Estate is a modern, purposely built facility currently home to 35 horses in pre-training and upwards of 80 horses spelling.

This role is to oversee all day-to-day management of all practical elements of racehorse pre-training and agistment, client relationship management and stable representation.

Main responsibilities will include, but is not limited to the following:

- Implementing exercise routines and schedules at Cavallino Estate on a day to day basis
- Management of supplement and stable vet treatments in consultation with the Head Trainers and in line with each horses individual training schedule
- Correcting of horse behavioural issues and general presentation, utilising equestrian disciplines such as dressage
- Managing all owner communication for horses in the facilities care, utilising the stable's communication platform Prism
- Manage, monitor and roster all staff at the facilities
- Oversee horses at the spelling farm in liaison with Spelling Farm Manager, to ensure correct feed management and ongoing welfare checks to ensure readiness for pre-training movement
- Oversee all administration aspects of the facilities, including the movement of horses in and out at the right time to the right location

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, have exceptional communication skills, have excellent attention to detail, be tech savy, demonstrate proven teamwork skills, have exceptional time management skills, be committed to providing outstanding client customer service across all channels and be a natural horse man/woman.

An on-site 4bd/room home is provided as part of this rare opportunity.

Relevant practical experience at another pre-training facility or similar will be advantageous.
