Pre-Training Facility Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Training Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our racehorse pre-training facility.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for implementing exercise routines and schedules, managing supplements and stable vet treatments, correcting horse behavioural issues, and overseeing administration aspects of the facility. They will also manage owner communication and staff rostering.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing exercise routines and schedules at Cavallino Estate on a daily basis
- Managing supplements and stable vet treatments in consultation with the Head Trainers and in line with each horse's individual training schedule
- Correcting horse behavioural issues and general presentation using equestrian disciplines like dressage
- Managing owner communication for horses in our care using our communication platform
- Managing, monitoring, and rostering staff at the facility
- Overseeing horses at the spelling farm in liaison with the Spelling Farm Manager to ensure correct feed management and ongoing welfare checks
- Overseeing administration aspects of the facility, including moving horses in and out at the right time to the right location
To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional communication skills, excellent attention to detail, be tech-savvy, demonstrate proven teamwork skills, have exceptional time management skills, and be committed to providing outstanding client customer service across all channels. Relevant practical experience at another pre-training facility or similar is advantageous.
