**Nanny/Mothers Helper**

North Parramatta

Monday and Tuesday definitely. Options for additional hours if required.

9am - 5pm; 16 hours minimum.

Start: Flexible

A lovely professional family are now looking for their next nanny/assistant to become part of the family and care for their 2 children: 3 year old boy and 11 month old girl.

**Requirements**:

- Current first Aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Working with children check
- Driver's license and car
- Child-related references
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to follow instructions and also show initiative when necessary

Not essential: we would love a Spanish or French native speaker so our children can learn

**Position Description**:
Care of 11 month old:

- Feeding / bathing / putting down for naps / changing / engaging in age-appropriate activities
- Taking to play group, the park and facilitating craft and play

Care of 3 year old:

- Being a friend and experiencing the joys of life together. Bike riding, taking to bush kindy, swimming, park adventures, baby chino dates, bush walking, being in the garden, singing and dancing are his favourite things.
- We appreciate a child led and play based approach to learning and have mínimal screen use.

Assisting with:

- Laundry, folding and putting away
- Vacuuming and general tidy of the home/outdoors
- Meal preparation
- Prepare snacks / afternoon tea
- Prepare lunchboxes

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From $24.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Parramatta, NSW 2151: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
