Nanny/Mothers Helper Wanted

We are seeking a gentle and nurturing nanny/mothers helper to care for our children, a 3-year-old boy and an 8-week-old baby girl.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, kind, calm, and experienced in engaging with children, providing stimulating activities that support their learning milestones and development.

They should be reliable, trustworthy, and able to form a lovely bond with our family. The ability to support my husband with day-to-day household tasks and give me time to attend appointments/meetings is essential.

The successful nanny will have prior experience caring for children of different ages and multiple children at once. They should be passionate about working with children and enjoy supporting busy families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for the children
  • Follow the children's routine
  • Engage in age-appropriate creative activities/outings to assist in the children's development
  • Prepare and cook basic family meals on occasion
  • Assist with light household duties such as laundry, tidying, stacking and emptying the dishwasher, washing up (bottles and sterilising), vacuuming if needed
  • Help with grocery shopping and running errands

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a nanny/mothers helper or in childcare
  • Childcare qualifications preferred
  • A current first aid certificate
  • A current Working With Children's Check number
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English
  • Fitness, health, and an active lifestyle
  • A non-smoker
  • Able to prepare and cook basic family meals
  • A full driver's license and a clean driving record

What We Offer:

A permanent/long-term role with a flexible schedule, including one full day and two additional afternoons per week. Monday 2:30pm-6:00pm (ideal but not essential), Thursday 2:00pm-6:00pm (ideal but not essential), and Friday 10:00am-4:00pm.
