Job Title: Nanny/Mother's Helper

We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist a loving family in Northbridge.

Responsibilities
  • Care for a happy 2 year old boy
  • Provide routine and structure
  • Plan, engage, and play age appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor)
  • Take the child out for walks/park/playground etc.
  • Meal prep and simple cooking for the child
  • Run errands (occasionally)
  • Walk the dog (If time permits)
  • Child laundry
  • Folding
  • Assist with light household duties -Clearing surfaces and cleaning up after meals, tidying up toys after playing and encouraging the child to help
Requirements
  • 3 years + experience as a nanny or working in child care
  • Child care qualification (preferred)
  • Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Have a current working with children's check number
  • Toddler experience
  • Display strong communication skills and speak English
  • To be fit, healthy and active and enjoy the outdoors
  • Non smoking
  • Basic cooking skills
  • Full Drivers licence

The ideal nanny will be calm, nurturing and patient with a friendly/happy personality. A genuine love of children and ability to dedicate time to the child and enhance his learning and development on a daily basis is essential.

This role would suit someone who has a genuine passion for childcare, is reliable and able to maintain confidentiality.
