Position 1: 21 hrs per week - Monday, Tuesday & Friday (includes 1 evening and 1 Saturday per month)
Position 2: 24.5 hrs per week - Monday to Thursday (includes 1 evening and 1 Saturday per month)
Position 3: 20.66 hrs per week - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Sunday (includes 1 evening and 1 Saturday per month and every Sunday)
Band 3 - Salary Range $69,868.53 to $73,701.99 per annum Pro Rata + 12% Super
Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity
As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to engage with the community around collections, technology to supporting lifelong learning.This position reports to Team Leader Library Customer Experience.This position services both internal and external stakeholders, including library members, library staff, and the general public.
In this role you will:
Ensure customers have a positive experience in our Library and Learning Hubs by delivering high quality customer service.
Support the learning outcomes of residents by assisting in the use of resources, technology and online library platforms, and delivering literacy and learning programs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high quality customer service at library facilities or outreach points, ensuring customershave a positive library experience characterised by active engagement.
Proactively assist customers to maximise their use of the library, resources, equipment, technologyand online library platforms.
Under the direction of the shift supervisor, undertake routine library tasks including issuing andreturning loans, event bookings, collecting fees, and basic information and directional enquiries.
Assist with the maintenance of the library collection through efficient shelving of resources, shelftidying, updating displays and processing of item lists.
Deliver the day-to-day bookings, hire and operation of meeting rooms and tenant space acrossCouncil's Library and Learning Hub facilities.
Deliver literacy and learning program sessions or outreach visits for children and adults under thedirection of a supervisor.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Completion of at least 4 years secondary education plus a short industry-based training courseor some on-the-job training.
Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to relate well to a diverse range of people.
Some experience working in public libraries or a community focused organisation.
Current valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
Must hold or be able to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check.
