Helloworld and Viva Holidays are looking for a Product Development Manager to join our Wholesale Product team.Position OverviewThe Product Development Manager role is responsible for developing innovative products, packages, and deals within a designated destination portfolio for the Helloworld Travel Group of brands.
Maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers will also be key to your success in this role to ensure a competitive market advantage.What you're accountable for?
Managing the product requirements for a portfolio of destinationsIdentifying gaps within the wholesale range to create unique travel product offerings that provide a competitive advantage for Helloworld's brandsProducing travel brochures within the designated portfolio, including pricing, copywriting, and image selectionCultivating relationships with internal and external partners by participating in training and supplier eventsKey ConsiderationsYou may be required to provide support outside your local time zone and travel for this role; therefore, a valid passport is requiredThe position reports to the General Manager - Wholesale ProductThe position is based in the Melbourne officeThe role is full timeKey Result AreasMaximise availability of product and marketing opportunitiesProcure supplier participation for the wholesale brochure program to achieve agreed revenue targetsQualificationsQualification in Travel and Tourism well regardedExperienceMinimum 2 years' experience in a Travel Industry roleSound knowledge of Australian and international destinationsBe innovative and a lateral thinkerProven ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partnersExcellent attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelHelloworld Travel Employee BenefitsWhat do we offer Helloworld Travel employees?
