**About the team
**The St Andrew's Hospital Coding Unit is staffed by 7 qualified and experienced coders, working rostered shifts on a full time, part time or casual basis over a 5 day work week. The hospital provides a broad casemix coding profile but does not include maternity, mental health, major trauma or rehabilitation.

**About you**

**You will bring**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Clinical Coding
- Demonstrated competence in abstracting and clinical classification using ICD-10-AM & ACHI with a thorough understanding of Australian Coding Standards
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development of self and others
- Enjoys working as part of a dynamic health care team
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
