Clinical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality and accuracy of clinical documentation.
- You will work closely with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to provide education and training on best practices in documentation.
- Collaborate with clinical coders and coding auditors to ensure accurate clinical code assignment that reflects true hospital resource utilization.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical coding and health data analysis. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret coded data.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the health sector
- Strong clinical knowledge and proven ability to interpret coded data
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, change management, and data analysis
- Knowledge of coding guidelines, ABF models, DRGs, and healthcare standards
