Maintenance Assistant

Two of our Brisbane facilities are searching for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Property Services team

**About the Role**

Joining us as a Maintenance Assistant, you will provide general maintenance across the facility, including tasks such as the testing, maintenance and development of hospital equipment, building and grounds.

For the first two months of this role, you will be based at Ramsay Clinic New Farm on a full-time basis. Afterwards, the position will be a part-time role split between Greenslopes Private Hospital and Ramsay Clinic New Farm.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will work closely with a great team of tradespersons, becoming a vital member of our friendly team.

**About You**

Working autonomously and with a team of tradespersons, your effective interpersonal and communication skills will assist you in providing exceptional customer service. Furthermore, your ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise multiple tasks, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment will see you succeed in this role.
- You will also bring:_
- Previous experience in a similar hospital maintenance role (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to acquire a working knowledge of General Maintenance
- General construction induction card (white card)
- Any trade experience/qualifications are desirable
- Willingness to learn and develop skillset, adapting to the direction from staff members as required
- Pro-active, logical problem solving skills

**Remuneration**

A base hourly rate of $29.23 + superannuation + annual leave + sick leave. Dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.

**Requirements**:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19, **a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
