Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Clerk

**Day Shift Hours**: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm, Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Efficiently carry out the day-to-day functions in the warehouse
- Perform daily inspection of forklift
- Liaise with other internal departmental personnel and external couriers on logistics of shipments. Provide and maintain accurate transaction documentation
- Support the scheduling and dispatch of truck drivers
- Prepare and package shipments. Assemble wrapping of skids and coordinate related logistics. Load trucks with power equipment as required
- Verify and correct courier waybill as applicable
- Support the resolution of in-transit damaged goods or related discrepancies
- Create "in-transit damaged product" list and update accordingly
- Create and share regular reports of receiving department
- Ensure warehouse is clean and tidy; help with basic cleaning and custodial work
- Provide a safe workplace for all employees and visitors within the department
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
- Other tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role
- Experience in a GMP manufacturing facility is an asset
- Valid LF forklift licence is an asset
- Solid knowledge and experience with inventory and warehouse procedures
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Excellent communication in the English language, both written and verbal
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 20 kgs
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic
- Cooperative attitude, willingness to meet challenging deadlines as requested
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Flexibility to work overtime, if required
