Overview
Location: Daktronics, Frenchs Forest, New South Wales, Australia.
Position: Warehouse Clerk. Hours: approximately 25 hours per week, with approximate work hours of 10am – 3pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
Perform shipping and receiving duties accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Prepare documents for domestic and international shipments (Bill of Lading, packing list, commercial invoices, certificate of origin, and others).
Prepare and ship hazardous products as required; record and track shipment information.
Coordinate shipment preparation, including pulling parts, packaging, and data recording.
Load trucks using forklift and assist with moving boxes and crates as needed.
Assist with damaged freight, customer relations regarding shipments, expedited shipments, shipping reports, and rate quotes.
Process other shipments including demo equipment returns from purchasing department requests.
Maintain shipping inventory duties, including issuing and committing parts.
Communicate with project managers, accounting, sales, manufacturing, customer service, and plant leaders to verify shipment authorization and resolve related issues.
Plan and organize shipments for the week and communicate plans to Plant and BU leadership.
Be flexible and adjust priorities to meet ship dates; assist with workspace cleanup and uphold company policies and procedures.
Regularly and reliably work scheduled hours and be able to work overtime when workload requires.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Office Administration (as needed)
General office and administrative tasks including report processing, copying, filing, answering phones, and mail handling.
Qualifications
High School certificate or equivalent required.
willingness to work overtime when scheduled.
Regular and reliable attendance during scheduled hours.
Good communication and math skills; ability to accurately record numerical information.
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Wear and use required protective equipment per safety policy and OSHA standards (PPE provided as needed).
Physical requirements: ability to distinguish colors, read fine print, work with various odors, lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand or sit for full shift with full range of motion, maintain steady hand-eye coordination, reach in all directions.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
Desirable traits
Experience in receiving warehouse inventory or materials management; understanding of materials flow in manufacturing.
Computer skills: Glovia, UPS Maxiship System, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
