**ABOUT THE POSITION**
Reporting to the Business Manager and with good support around you, the Human Resources Coordinator oversees and coordinates a broad range of people and culture functions within the College, bringing the expertise gained through previous experience.

Responsibilities include
- Recruitment and on-boarding.
- Supporting managers with employee related matters,
- Coordinating compliant HR practices which align with the mission and values.

This is a growing role and an opportunity to gain experience in a Christian School HR setting.

**ABOUT THE PERSON**

Staff at the college share a strong personal alignment with the Christian mission and ethos of the organisation. Employees need to be able to embrace the core values of the College and have a passion for working in an overtly Christian education setting.

Skills and experience required:

- Experience in facilitating end to end recruitment.
- An understanding or ability to seek advice regarding Awards and the Fairwork Act
- Manage an HR system and provide avenues for advice.
- Ability to assist or refer with Return To Work and staff performance matters.
- Previous experience in a similar HR role within an educational setting is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to share the overall vision and help the school pursue its God given charter.
- A personal alignment and ownership with the school's ethos and faith position demonstrated by an active personal faith and active church involvement.
