
Compliance & Business Improvement Officer

Mercy Community has a long history of supporting the community with NDIS, Aged Care and Families & Young People Programs. Our People & Culture Team work to support those on the front line who care for our residents and clients. We currently have an opportunity to be part of this team, as our new Compliance and Business Improvement Officer.
**About your role**:
Supporting our corporate services and our three streams, you will be responsible for the operational processing of Probity documentation for all employees. You will:
- Manage probity across the organisation ensuring probity records are maintained and that renewals are in line with our policies and procedures
- Accurately maintain probity information and manage regular updates of the probity register
- Participate in the implementation and review of our policies & procedures, including assistance with the monitoring of compliance, policy, procedures, work instructions, and other organisational and legislative requirements.
- Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to prepare, undertake and maintain external licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Drive ongoing continual improvement and changes on business improvement across the entire Employee Lifecycle, by making the process more visible and identify places for automation.,
**About you**:
- Strong administration skills, including excellent document management and business improvement skills
- Experience maintaining employee records would be highly desirable
- Demonstrated high level user across Microsoft Officer Suite is essential
- Ability to make decisions and work collaboratively in a team
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy are essential
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
